About this course
This course covers laser and IPL hazards to eyes, skin and the environment, laser classification, the controlled area and its controls, protective eyewear and how to check it, local rules and the Laser Protection Adviser and Laser Protection Supervisor roles, incident procedures and the expectations of UK regulators and insurers.
It is theory. Local rules and device-specific safety training are provided in the clinic where the device is used.
Who it is for: Laser practitioners, clinic owners and anyone working in a laser environment.

- Select and check protective eyewear.
- Explain local rules and the LPA and LPS roles.
