About this course
UK aesthetics is changing. This course maps the landscape as it stands: who may do what, prescription-only medicines and remote prescribing, insurance and what it requires, advertising rules for injectables, the licensing direction of travel, and the professional conduct expected of practitioners regardless of background.
It gives new practitioners a realistic picture of the obligations they are taking on, and established practitioners a checklist to measure their practice against.
Who it is for: Anyone entering aesthetics and practitioners who want to check their practice against the current landscape.

- Describe scope of practice and the limits that apply to different practitioner backgrounds.
- Explain the rules around prescription-only medicines, prescribers and face-to-face assessment.
- Understand what professional indemnity insurance requires of the practitioner.

- Recognise professional conduct expectations and how to raise concerns.
