Sculptra / PLLA Theory
Poly-L-lactic acid biostimulation: mechanism, patient assessment, reconstitution and treatment planning principles. Theory before practical training.
About this course
Poly-L-lactic acid works differently from hyaluronic acid filler: it stimulates the client's own collagen over months rather than adding volume on the day. This course covers the mechanism, product handling and reconstitution principles, patient assessment and selection, treatment planning across a course, expected timelines, and the safety considerations specific to biostimulators.
It is theory and professional development, written to be completed before the practical Sculptra / PLLA Biostimulation Training in Chichester, Petersfield or Eastergate. It is not manufacturer training and implies no manufacturer approval.
Who it is for: Practising injectors preparing for Sculptra / PLLA Biostimulation Training.
Entry: Intended for practising injectors.

Theory and professional development. This online course provides theory and professional development. It does not, by itself, confirm hands-on practical competency. Where practical competency is required, appropriate supervised practical training and assessment should also be completed. The Academy delivers that practical training in Chichester, Petersfield and Eastergate.
