About this course
The barrier is where most skin problems start and finish. This course covers the structure of the stratum corneum, lipids and the acid mantle, what damages the barrier, how it repairs, and how to recognise a compromised barrier in consultation.
It then covers supporting repair with ingredients, routines and treatment sequencing, including when to hold off on active treatments.
Who it is for: Skin practitioners and anyone recommending skincare.
