This course covers what dermal fillers are and how they behave: hyaluronic acid chemistry, crosslinking, rheology and product selection by area, indications and contraindications, injection planes and technique principles, cannula versus needle, and the safety framework including hyaluronidase.
It is theory and professional development, designed to be completed before the practical Foundation Dermal Fillers course. Practical competence requires supervised hands-on training.
