About this course
Injectable safety is anatomy. This course works through the face by region: the layers from skin to bone, the arterial and venous supply and its variations, the sensory and motor nerves, fat compartments and ligaments, and the areas where injury is most likely and most serious.
It is designed to be studied before practical training and returned to afterwards. It is theory; it does not itself qualify anyone to inject.
Who it is for: Injectors at every level, and practitioners preparing for foundation injectable training.
What you will be able to do
- Describe the layers of the face and what lies in each.
- Map the main arteries and veins of the face and their common variations.
- Locate the sensory and motor nerves relevant to injectable treatment.
- Explain fat compartments, retaining ligaments and structural ageing.
- Identify high-risk zones and the reasoning behind safe injection planes.
